  • The Formative Principles of the Common Core Standards for Mathematics - a video presentation where Phil Daro talks about the principles that he and the other Common Core Standards authors used in forming the new standards, their intention and their vision. Daro speaks to the potential that these standards have to make change in the US national education system. (15 minutes) 

 

  • Against "Answer-Getting" - a video presentation where Phil Daro goes into detail on the problems of "Answer-getting," one of the practices that the new Common Core Standards intend to greatly reduce. (17 minutes)
